#OLF Goes Live!

Invitation to the Annual OLF Summer Meeting: #OLF Goes Live! All NGOs participating in Active Citizens Fund (ACF) programs are invited to the annual summer meeting, which this year has grown into an event for all Open Lithuania Foundation (OLF) program participants.

We invite all NGOs participating in OLF programs to our annual summer kick-off meeting. Previously organised as #ACF Goes Live, this year’s event has grown into an event for all OLF program participants #OLF Goes Live! So, we invite you to Join us for a day of networking, inspiration, and time for yourself and your fellow NGO colleagues. See you on 19 June in Vilnius. We will spend the day discussing about the concept of human rights, and in the evening we will #Democracy Drinks closing event in ALF courtyard (Didžioji str. 5). Below you will find a brief description of the event, and we will announce the exact program and venue after we receive your registration forms.

In the meantime – book for 19 June and fill in the registration form here by 13 May.

WHAT AND WHY:

Different human rights topics are perceived and understood differently in the capital and throughout Lithuania. It is as if there are two different human rights fields in Lithuania. We would like it not to be so. That is why we invite NGOs that have participated, are participating or would like to participate in various Open Lithuania Foundation programs to our annual networking event. This time, on behalf of the entire Open Lithuania Foundation, we invite you to meet in person – to gather, look around, share, breathe, and take time for yourself and your fellow NGOs.

WHEN AND WHERE:

Wednesday 19 June 2024, Vilnius (venue to be notified to those who have registered)

WHAT WE DO:

11.00-17.00 NGO networking event where we will look at human rights through the eyes of others:

• We will see what human rights issues are being addressed by NGOs big or small, experienced or new, urban or rural, community-based or expert.
• We will find commonalities/partnerships on HR issues in areas we are less familiar with, or in places we have never been, in corners we have not thought about.
• We will look for ways of doing things that can encourage more people to participate as citizens, to observe, to represent, to defend, to advocate, to simply have a constructive debate.
