Join us for an online presentation of the VEIKIAM! program on Wednesday, June 12th at 1 PM.

The VEIKIAM! program is designed to strengthen the general capacity of NGOs, their competence in preventing gender-based violence, and to provide funding for projects later.

This invitation is not only for NGOs working in the field of violence prevention. We encourage organizations working with various target groups – people with disabilities, national minorities, migrants, youth, LGBTQ, older people, etc. to participate, as gender-based violence has a negative impact on the whole community. In order to effectively respond to it in Lithuania, we must learn to recognize the manifestations and causes of violence and learn how to eliminate them.

During the first meeting, we will discuss how to apply the principles of gender equality and non-discrimination in everyday work, the role of NGOs in creating safer, more open communities, present the program itself and explain how to participate in it. The program is implemented in Lithuania by the Open Lithuania Foundation and the Center for equality advancement.

The first calls for participation in the program will be announced at the end of June – the entire program schedule will be presented on June 12th at 1 PM.

The presentation will take place on the MS Teams platform. The number of participants from one organization is not limited.
