Public Policy Analysis

Establishing the Vilnius Institute for Policy Analysis (VIPA) and ensuring its successful functioning are key strategic tasks for the OLF in 2017.

The shortage of public policy analysis and critical thinking in general in Lithuania is the primary reason that spurred the reopening of the OLF. Developing and strengthening an open civil society is the OLF’s primary long-term commitment.

This is why the OLF has supported the idea of establishing the VIPA and is co-funding VIPA’s activities in 2017 in three main areas: Good Governance, Safe Europe and Responsible Media.
